Bench Top refractometers range from basic optical instruments such as the B&L Bench Top to the AO/Reichert ABBE, which uses electronics to convert stepper motor increments to brix readings, to fully programmable multi scale instruments.
Tek-Net is an authorized Reichert Service dealer. While we service older units such as the B&L & Fisher bench tops, we limit our service offerings on Electronic refractometers to the Reichert Line.
Preventive Maintenance consists of a thorough cleaning and calibration of the instrument. External optics and surfaces are cleaned and the instrument is calibrated.
Reconditioning a Bench Top Refractometer consists of disassembling the unit, replacing worn & broken parts. All surfaces are cleaned and the instrument is reassembled and calibrated.
