The weak link in mosrt projectors is the bulb and bulb socket. For many years the GE CAX bulb has been the staple for most projectors. These bulbs have a short shelf life and the sockets had a tendency to burn out periodically. Tek-Net now offers a halogen upgrade for most standard projectors.
